The General Manager/Owner is Steve MacGregor is personally involved in all aspects of his dealership. Having been in the automotive business since 1982, Steve has sold vehicles, managed all sales departments for new car dealerships, and was both Dealer Principal and General Manager of Nissan/Infiniti dealerships for over 9 years.

Steve’s decision to apply his skills in hand picking, detailing and conditioning only the finest vehicles for resale, and marketing them in the most thorough way he can has been achieved with CarSmart. While he specializes in Import vehicles due to space limitations, he will also keep exceptional quality and value priced trade-in of all manufacturers for his clients. Steve’s aim is to make your auto shopping experience fun, easy and financially advantageous, without the hassles of haggling and negotiating over price.

Our History

Having worked in the New Car Dealership environment in Ottawa for 23 years (11 years as a sales/leasing representative, 5 years New Car Manager, 2 years Used Car Manager, 3 years General Sales Manager, 2 years General Manager), I moved my family to the Niagara Region to pursue my goal of owning my own store.  I was Dealer Principal & General Manager of Welland Nissan/Niagara Falls Nissan from 2007 – 2011, and decided to sell my stake due to a difficult partnership.

Pursuing my passion for fine automobiles, I opened up CarSmart in Niagara Falls, where I can now source and offer the finest vehicles from all manufacturers worldwide (as opposed to focusing on a single brand).  I saw that the Niagara Region was under-served with quality “Import” selections, and has positioned CarSmart to fill that niche.
